Dr. Emrey Moskowitz-Porath has been practicing dentistry for over 28 years. She is known to go the extra mile to take care of her patients. She has built a loyal following of patients who find her approach to dentistry to be refreshing and enjoyable. Her attention to detail makes her skilled at her craft whether it is cosmetic, implants, TMJ relief or removing decay. Her sense of humor and empathy helps put her patients at ease. She is known for her warmth, compassion, and friendly chair-side manner as well her sincere, honest treatment approach. Her strong educational background in dentistry and her constant adoption of proven new technology helps educate her patients about good long-term oral health choices for both prevention and treatment. What truly sets her apart is how she views her practice as an extension of her family and doesn’t rush through patient appointments. Rather, she enjoys spending time getting to know her patients, listening to all their dental wishes and needs, understanding their medical conditions, and treating each person uniquely.
Dr. Moskowitz-Porath loves being a family dentist, treating children to adults (sometimes treating three generations at a time) and prides herself on making the experience at the dentist a positive one. Although Dr. Moskowitz-Porath has lived in Massachusetts for more than a quarter of a century, she was born in Los Angeles and raised in Huntington Beach, California. She graduated from Brandeis University in 1990 and received her dental degree from University of California in San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry in 1994. She continued to do advanced dental training in a General Practice Residency earning a Certification in Hospital Dentistry in 1995 at VA Sepulveda Medical Center. In 2003, she received a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
For 18 years Dr. Moskowitz-Porath was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine teaching dental students in a clinical setting. She has been awarded many faculty and teaching awards over the years.

Dr. Moskowitz-Porath loves to spend quality time with her husband and five children.
She enjoys going on long runs with her rescue dog named Dunkin- yes, after Dunkin doughnuts.
Her and her staff enjoy seeing their patient’s uniquely patterned socks or cool sneaker collections that are worn to their dental appointments.
Her favorite color is orange (used to be red); she doesn’t like the taste of bubble gum; and she can’t resist a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts.
Her happy places are Newport, Rhode Island and Newport Beach, CA.
